Why We're Special

We have been successful in focusing on "the human side of technology" skills for a number of reasons, but three factors stand out:

1. We tie all soft skill training to "hard" business situations. Wherever possible we work with real business problems and issues in our workshops and labs. We believe that the worth of any skill, model or tool is measured by how well it solves real problems under the spotlight of group scrutiny.
2. We've never been afraid, individually or collectively, to "speak the unspeakable" and surface difficult issues that organizations need to address or resolve.
3. Lastly, we pay personal attention to each and every person in a workshop. We make certain that each agenda and issue has a chance to be heard.

In the last 17 years we've learned a lot, not only about technical environments, but also about the behavior of managers, individual contributors, groups and teams. We've also learned a lot about how all these groups can work together to achieve profitable, positive business outcomes for organizations and also provide meaningful work for people.
